Microelectronics technology which, in addition to its own, an emerging, applicable and strategic technology, somehow is infrastructure of the development of related technologies includes IT and irrefutable pillar Industry 4. The progress of this industry in the new century continues to be faster than ever, and its achievements have surpassed the optimistic forecasts of the past. In recent years, we have witnessed a dramatic Evolution in the world’s industries in terms of extending and expanding the application of the electronic industry, which is in fact the foundation of the progress of other industries in the world. Today, fewer devices can be found in various industries, with many electronic components not used in it. Therefore, it can be predicted that one of the fastest trends in the development and optimization of industrial products of today’s world to capture tomorrow’s markets is to equip them with electronic systems. Today, the number of production lines with a high speed and precision, a very complex and diverse products, with very high quality without human labor is not low. Therefore, this industry and technology during the same period, has created important effects and changes in key concepts such as production, consumption, employment and labor, industry and commerce, and international competition. Therefore, without an exaggeration, the electronics industry is now recognized as one of the largest industries in the global arena. Big companies such as IBM, Intel, Motorola, Philips, Sony, and … will develop and improve various technologies in this industry. The electronics industry, in addition to its vast range, is the cornerstone of many industries and technologies, especially information technology. Electronic components and devices include a variety of sensors and detectors, various telecommunication devices, voice and video systems, and thousands of other systems are increasingly used in other industries. One of the most important fields of activity of the Institute of Microelectronics of Iran is the electronics industry and microelectronics technology.
